Gurugram: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) reported its highest-ever monthly sales of 82,299 units in October 2026, registering a year-on-year growth of 17.7 per cent, driven by strong festive demand and healthy performance in both domestic and export markets.

The company’s domestic sales touched a record 62,799 units during the month, marking a growth of 16.7 per cent compared with the corresponding period last year. Exports also witnessed strong momentum, increasing 21.1 per cent year-on-year to 19,500 units.

Hyundai VENUE recorded its highest-ever domestic monthly sales of 13,017 units in October 2026, contributing to the company’s overall sales performance.

Commenting on the achievement, Tarun Garg, Managing Director and CEO of Hyundai Motor India, said October had been an exceptional month for the company, with total sales reaching the highest monthly level since its inception.

He attributed the record performance to strong festive demand and healthy momentum across domestic and export markets.

Garg added that the newly launched Hyundai BAYON, positioned as an Intelligent Utility Vehicle, is expected to provide further growth impetus in India and more than 50 export markets, strengthening the country’s role as a strategic manufacturing and export hub for Hyundai.
