Gurugram: Apollo Tyres Ltd on Thursday reported a 13 per cent year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue from operations to Rs 7,398 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, driven by steady growth in its India business and resilient performance in Europe despite a challenging market environment.

The company posted an operating profit of Rs 868 crore during the April-June quarter, largely unchanged from the corresponding period last year.

Net profit rose sharply to Rs 349 crore compared with Rs 13 crore in the year-ago period. The company said the previous year’s profit was impacted by a post-tax restructuring and impairment charge of Rs 273 crore related to its Netherlands plant.

Commenting on the performance, Apollo Tyres Chairman Onkar Kanwar said the company delivered healthy revenue growth during the quarter, supported by robust demand across market segments and sustained high-capacity utilisation across its manufacturing network.

He said the company remains focused on profitable growth through stronger execution, improved operational efficiency and close alignment with customer requirements, while staying well-positioned to capitalise on emerging growth opportunities despite the evolving macroeconomic environment.

Separately, the company announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Gaurav Kumar, has resigned from the company and its Board of Directors to pursue new personal and professional opportunities.

“It has been terrific to be part of the incredible journey at Apollo Tyres thus far. I have learned, and hopefully contributed in equal measure, and now seek to explore alternative and new challenges,” Kumar said.

Apollo Tyres Vice Chairman and Managing Director Neeraj Kanwar acknowledged Kumar’s contribution to the company over the past two decades, describing his role in the company’s growth across India and overseas as significant.

The company said Kumar has agreed to continue beyond his notice period, if required, to facilitate a smooth transition. He will cease to be a Key Management Personnel after handing over his responsibilities.

Apollo Tyres said the process to appoint a new Chief Financial Officer is underway and the appointment will be communicated to the stock exchanges once finalised.
