Bengaluru: AI-powered fleet safety and mobility intelligence platform Cautio on Monday announced the appointment of Nitin Chadha as Senior Vice President – Growth & Strategy as it looks to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence-led safety and operational intelligence solutions across India’s commercial mobility sector.

In his new role, Chadha will spearhead growth initiatives, strategic partnerships and enterprise expansion, supporting the company’s efforts to strengthen its presence in the evolving fleet safety and mobility technology market.

Chadha brings more than two decades of experience across mobility, consumer technology, automotive, insurance and startup ecosystems. He has previously held leadership roles at Acko, Spinny and Park+, and founded shared mobility platform sRide.

The appointment comes amid increasing adoption of AI-powered technologies by fleet operators to improve road safety, operational efficiency and driver accountability. Growing regulatory emphasis on road safety, driver monitoring and advanced safety systems has further boosted demand for predictive and intelligence-driven fleet management solutions.

Commenting on the appointment, Cautio Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Ankit Acharya said Chadha’s experience in scaling mobility businesses and driving growth initiatives would play a key role in the company’s next phase of expansion.

“Nitin brings a rare combination of operating depth, mobility-sector understanding and growth leadership. As Cautio enters its next phase of growth, his leadership will be instrumental in expanding our partnerships, strengthening our revenue engine and bringing our fleet safety platform to more operators across India,” Acharya said.

Founded with the objective of making commercial mobility safer and more accountable, Cautio uses artificial intelligence to help fleet operators identify risks, improve driver behaviour and optimise operational performance.

The company said its platform currently safeguards more than 15,000 vehicles daily across over 130 cities and has processed more than 150 million safe kilometres. It has also generated over 60 million AI-triggered alerts related to driving behaviour and operational risks.

According to the company, its technology has helped intervene in more than 3,000 safety incidents, averting over 2,400 potential accidents while assisting operators in identifying impaired driving, preventing fraudulent claims and addressing unauthorised vehicle usage.

Cautio’s customer base includes RedBus, Zingbus, Euro Cars, Cityflo, Infants, Shoffr, the Indian Army and G4S.

Speaking on his appointment, Chadha said India’s mobility ecosystem is undergoing rapid transformation, creating opportunities for technology-led solutions that enhance safety, accountability and operational efficiency.

“What drew me to Cautio is its long-term vision of building safety infrastructure, not simply selling technology products. I look forward to helping accelerate growth, deepen partnerships and bring these solutions to more fleets across the country,” he added.
