Gurugram: Transport Corporation of India Ltd (TCI) reported a 3 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 116.9 crore for the second quarter of FY2026-27, compared with Rs 113.5 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The integrated multimodal logistics and supply chain solutions provider posted consolidated revenue of Rs 1,397.9 crore during the July-September quarter, registering a growth of 14.8 per cent from Rs 1,217.4 crore in the year-ago period.

The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 8.3 per cent to Rs 175.9 crore from Rs 162.4 crore in the second quarter of the previous fiscal.

On a standalone basis, TCI’s net profit increased 4.4 per cent to Rs 91.7 crore in the September quarter, compared with Rs 87.8 crore a year earlier. Standalone revenue grew 12.3 per cent to Rs 1,196.4 crore, while EBITDA increased 9.7 per cent to Rs 142.9 crore.

For the first half of FY2026-27, the company’s consolidated revenue rose 12 per cent to Rs 2,652.7 crore from Rs 2,368 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Consolidated EBITDA increased 6.8 per cent to Rs 335.8 crore, while profit after tax grew 1.3 per cent to Rs 223.5 crore during the April-September period.

On a standalone basis, revenue for the first half rose 10 per cent to Rs 2,308 crore, while EBITDA increased 5.2 per cent to Rs 308.4 crore. However, standalone net profit edged down 0.2 per cent to Rs 211.5 crore from Rs 212 crore in the year-ago period.

Commenting on the results, TCI Managing Director Vineet Agarwal said the company’s integrated model spanning road, rail, coastal transportation, warehousing and technology continued to demonstrate its strength amid expanding consumption and trade flows.

He said the company was witnessing healthy traction in third-party logistics (3PL), warehousing and multimodal logistics, with rail, road and coastal transportation supporting efficient, lower-emission long-haul movement.

The company’s expanding network of warehouses and hubs also positioned it to cater to growing demand from e-commerce, quick commerce and omnichannel retail, Agarwal said.

He added that technology remained central to the company’s growth strategy, with digital integration through the Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP) providing customers with real-time visibility and data-driven supply chain solutions.

TCI is also scaling up artificial intelligence-led forecasting, route optimisation and automation to improve service quality, asset productivity and cost efficiency, he said.

Agarwal said the company expected a constructive outlook for the coming quarters as festive-season demand gathered momentum across consumption-driven sectors.

TCI would continue investing in multimodal infrastructure, digital capabilities and green logistics to create long-term value for customers and stakeholders, he added.
