Mumbai: Atul Auto Limited on Friday reported a sharp rise in its sales for April 2026, driven by robust demand across both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric three-wheelers.
The company said its total sales, including exports, jumped 73.97 per cent year-on-year to 3,001 units in April 2026 as compared to 1,725 units in the same month last year.
Domestic sales also witnessed a strong increase of 73.65 per cent, rising to 2,478 units during the month under review from 1,427 units in April 2025.
Sales of three-wheelers powered by internal combustion engines nearly doubled, with domestic volumes surging 98.56 per cent to 1,791 units from 902 units a year earlier. On a combined domestic and export basis, ICE vehicle sales rose 94.78 per cent to 2,314 units as against 1,188 units in the year-ago period.
Electric vehicle sales also posted healthy growth, with domestic volumes increasing 30.86 per cent to 687 units in April 2026 from 525 units in April 2025. Including exports, EV sales rose 27.93 per cent to 687 units compared to 537 units in the corresponding period last year.
The company said its electric vehicle numbers include L5 category vehicles sold by Atul Greentech Private Limited up to January 14, 2026.
The strong performance reflects improving demand in the three-wheeler segment, supported by both conventional fuel vehicles and a steady rise in adoption of electric mobility solutions.
