New Delhi: Renault India on Thursday reported a 36.6 per cent year-on-year increase in domestic sales to 35,378 units during January-September 2026, compared with 25,886 units in the corresponding period last year.

The automaker recorded domestic wholesale sales of 3,399 units in September 2026, registering a 20 per cent month-on-month growth over August.

During the month, Renault India resumed vehicle exports to Sri Lanka in partnership with AMW Motors, taking its international export footprint to 16 countries. The first shipment of 100 vehicles comprising the Triber, Kwid and Kiger was dispatched from Chennai.

The company also expanded its Triber portfolio with the launch of the Triber 100PS, priced from Rs 7.84 lakh (ex-showroom). The model features a 100 PS turbocharged powertrain and is based on Renault Group Entry Platform.

Renault India said it will introduce its first hybrid powertrain in India with the Duster strong hybrid E-Tech 160 on October 17, 2026, as part of its futuREady strategy.
