TVS Motor Company’s Q2 sales grow by 27%

New Delhi: TVS Motor Company on Thursday reported a 24 per cent year-on-year increase in sales to 6,72,790 units in September 2026, compared with 5,41,064 units in the same month last year.

Total two-wheeler sales rose 23 per cent to 6,45,955 units from 5,23,923 units a year earlier. Domestic two-wheeler sales increased 17 per cent to 4,82,073 units during the month.

Electric two-wheeler sales more than doubled, rising 110 per cent to 65,799 units in September 2026 from 31,266 units in September 2025.

TVS Motor’s international business sales grew 48 per cent to 1,80,700 units from 1,22,108 units a year earlier. International two-wheeler sales also increased 48 per cent to 1,63,882 units.

Three-wheeler sales rose 57 per cent to 26,835 units in September 2026 from 17,141 units in the year-ago month. For the second quarter of FY27, TVS Motor recorded total sales of around 1.9 million units, up from around 1.6 million units in Q2 FY26. Two-wheeler sales grew 27 per cent to 1.8 million units, while three-wheeler sales increased 47 per cent to 78,475 units.

International business sales rose 35 per cent to around 5.39 lakh units in Q2 FY27 from around 4 lakh units a year earlier, while two-wheeler electric vehicle sales increased 133 per cent to around 1.86 lakh units.
