New Delhi: Bajaj Auto Ltd on Thursday reported a 5 per cent year-on-year increase in total vehicle sales at 5,38,443 units in September 2026, compared with 5,10,504 units in the same month last year.
According to the company’s sales data, two-wheeler sales rose 5 per cent to 4,51,494 units in September 2026 from 4,30,853 units a year ago. Domestic two-wheeler sales declined 12 per cent to 2,39,771 units, while exports jumped 34 per cent to 2,11,723 units.
Commercial vehicle sales increased 9 per cent to 86,949 units from 79,651 units in September 2025. Domestic CV sales grew 5 per cent to 54,685 units, while exports rose 17 per cent to 32,264 units.
Overall domestic sales of two-wheelers and commercial vehicles declined 9 per cent to 2,94,456 units, whereas exports increased 32 per cent to 2,43,987 units during the month.
For the April-September period of 2026, Bajaj Auto’s total sales rose 24 per cent to 29,87,135 units from 24,05,357 units in the corresponding period last year.
Two-wheeler sales during the six-month period increased 24 per cent to 25,06,513 units, while commercial vehicle sales also grew 24 per cent to 4,80,622 units.
Exports remained a key growth driver during the first half, rising 47 per cent to 15,10,701 units, while domestic sales increased 7 per cent to 14,76,434 units.
