SML Mahindra sales rise 40 pc to 1,175 units in August

Mumbai: SML Mahindra Limited on Tuesday reported a 40 per cent year-on-year increase in total sales at 1,175 units in August 2026, compared with 842 units in the same month last year.

Passenger vehicle sales rose 31 per cent to 683 units in August 2026 from 521 units a year earlier, according to the company’s regulatory disclosure.

Cargo vehicle sales also increased 53 per cent to 492 units in August, against 321 units in the corresponding month of 2025.

During April-August 2026, SML Mahindra sold a total of 8,216 vehicles, registering a 14 per cent growth over 7,195 units sold in the same period last year.

Passenger vehicle sales during the five-month period rose 21 per cent to 6,198 units from 5,143 units, while cargo vehicle sales declined two per cent to 2,018 units from 2,052 units.
