New Delhi: JSW MG Motor India on Saturday reported a 22 per cent year-on-year increase in wholesale dispatches to 8,158 units in July 2026, registering its highest-ever monthly sales, driven by strong demand for its new energy vehicle (NEV) portfolio.

The company said its NEV portfolio accounted for more than 80 per cent of total wholesale volumes during the month, marking its highest-ever monthly contribution.

“This strong performance, coupled with another month of robust retail sales, demonstrates the strength of our diverse portfolio and our ability to meet evolving customer aspirations,” JSW MG Motor India Managing Director Anurag Mehrotra said.

The July performance also surpassed the company’s previous monthly record of 7,568 units achieved in June 2026, reflecting sustained demand across its passenger vehicle range.

The automaker said the continued growth in NEV sales underlines the increasing customer acceptance of its electric and hybrid vehicle portfolio.

JSW MG Motor currently offers a range of electric vehicles, including the MG Comet EV, MG Windsor EV, MG ZS EV, MG Cyberster and the MG M9 electric MPV, with the Windsor EV continuing to be a key volume driver.

The company said July marked the third consecutive month of record wholesale sales, highlighting sustained momentum in the Indian passenger vehicle market. It added that its new energy vehicle strategy continues to gain traction as the share of electric and hybrid models in overall sales rises steadily.
