Mumbai: Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Ltd (MLMML) retained its leadership in the electric commercial vehicle (e-CV) segment, registering 13,134 electric vehicles in June 2026 and 35,133 units during the first quarter of FY2026-27, according to Vahan data.

The company said it emerged as the country’s leading electric commercial vehicle manufacturer for both June 2026 and the April-June quarter, extending its market leadership for the fourth consecutive financial year.

MLMML said electrification in the L5 category reached 44.8 per cent during the first quarter of FY27. The company captured a 32.4 per cent market share in the L5 electric vehicle segment and a 34.5 per cent share in the L5M electric vehicle category during the quarter, maintaining its position as the market leader.

The company reported an 83.5 per cent year-on-year growth in L5 electric vehicle sales in the April-June quarter compared with the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility attributed its performance to its early investments in electrification, having entered the L5 EV segment in 2018. Its electric commercial vehicle portfolio includes models such as UDO, Treo, Zor Grand, e-Alfa, Treo Yaari, Treo Zor and the Mahindra ZEO four-wheeler.

The company said its technology-led products, backed by an extensive sales and service network, have helped it maintain leadership despite intensifying competition in the electric commercial vehicle market.
