New Delhi: Commercial vehicle manufacturer SML Mahindra on Wednesday reported a 3 per cent increase in total sales at 1,930 units in June 2026, driven by robust demand for passenger vehicles.
The company had sold 1,871 units in the corresponding month of the previous financial year.
Sales of passenger vehicles rose 13 per cent to 1,575 units in June this year from 1,391 units in June 2025, according to the company’s regulatory filing.
However, cargo vehicle sales declined 26 per cent year-on-year to 355 units from 480 units during the same period last year.
For the first quarter of FY27 (April-June), SML Mahindra posted total sales of 5,438 units, up 10 per cent from 4,926 units recorded in the year-ago period.
Passenger vehicle sales during the quarter increased 19 per cent to 4,329 units from 3,644 units a year earlier, while cargo vehicle sales fell 13 per cent to 1,109 units from 1,282 units.
