Mumbai: Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. on Monday introduced the Curvv.ev SeriesX, a new range of long-range electric SUV-coupé variants, with prices starting at Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai), as it looks to strengthen its presence in the fast-growing electric vehicle segment.

The Curvv.ev SeriesX will be offered in two variants — Accomplished X 55 priced at Rs 16.99 lakh and Empowered X 55 at Rs 19.19 lakh, while the Empowered X 55 #DARK edition is priced at Rs 19.49 lakh. The model will be available in five colour options, including a new Nitro Crimson shade.

The company said the new range is aimed at customers seeking a premium electric SUV capable of long-distance travel, with a real-world range of around 400 km and an ARAI-certified range of 502 km on a single charge. The vehicle is powered by a 55 kWh battery pack and comes with a lifetime high-voltage battery warranty for the first owner.

Commenting on the launch, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said the introduction of the SeriesX personas is intended to make electric mobility more accessible while offering a clearer and more value-driven product lineup.

Built on the company’s acti.ev architecture, the Curvv.ev SeriesX delivers 167 hp of power and 215 Nm of torque, combining performance with everyday usability for both city and intercity driving.

The Accomplished X 55 variant focuses on comfort and technology, featuring a panoramic sunroof, dual digital screens with navigation and connectivity options, and a 360-degree camera system with blind-spot monitoring. It also offers ventilated seating, premium upholstery and rear sunshades to enhance in-cabin comfort.

The higher-spec Empowered X 55 variant adds advanced features such as a larger touchscreen infotainment system, premium audio setup, ventilated and power-adjustable seats, and Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems with multiple safety features. It also includes additional elements such as larger alloy wheels, vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-load capabilities, a powered tailgate and enhanced lighting features.

The launch comes as the company continues to expand its electric vehicle portfolio, aiming to tap into rising consumer interest in feature-rich, long-range EVs in the mid-size SUV segment.
