New Delhi: Renault India on Friday reported a 108 per cent year-on-year jump in domestic wholesales at 5,413 units in April 2026, marking a strong start to the new financial year.
The company had sold 2,602 units in April 2025. Renault India said the robust performance reflects sustained double-digit growth momentum following the launch of its refreshed product lineup, including the new-generation Renault Triber and Renault Kiger in September 2025.
The recently introduced Renault Duster has also received a strong market response, with demand picking up within the first week of deliveries that commenced towards the end of April, the company said.
The carmaker attributed the growth to improving demand trends supported by its revamped portfolio and continued focus on expanding its retail and service footprint.
In line with rising demand, Renault India has been strengthening its network, recently opening a new ‘new’R’ store and a workshop in Ranchi, taking its total sales and service touchpoints to 638 across the country.
The company said the sustained expansion of its network, along with an updated product range, is helping it build on sequential growth momentum for the second consecutive quarter.
Renault India’s strong April performance underscores a revival in demand supported by new launches and deeper market reach as it looks to consolidate its position in the domestic passenger vehicle segment.
