Olectra Greentech Q1 profit rises 3.6 pc, revenue jumps 67.8 pc

New Delhi: Electric bus maker Olectra Greentech Ltd on Thursday reported a 3.6 per cent year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 25.95 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, aided by higher revenue.

The company had posted a consolidated net profit attributable to equity shareholders of Rs 25.03 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Consolidated revenue from operations rose 65.7 per cent to Rs 575.51 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal from Rs 347.22 crore in the year-ago period.

Total income increased to Rs 577.65 crore during the quarter from Rs 352.56 crore a year earlier, according to the company’s financial results approved by its board.

Profit before tax, including the share of profit from associates, stood at Rs 34.69 crore, compared with Rs 33.80 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

On a standalone basis, Olectra Greentech reported a net profit of Rs 23.19 crore in the June quarter, up 3.6 per cent from Rs 22.39 crore in the year-ago period.

Standalone revenue from operations increased 67.8 per cent to Rs 566.64 crore from Rs 337.60 crore a year earlier.

The company’s Mobility Division contributed Rs 485.76 crore to segment revenue during the quarter, compared with Rs 282.62 crore in the corresponding period last year. The Energy Division revenue stood at Rs 80.88 crore, up from Rs 54.98 crore.

Olectra Greentech, which manufactures electric buses and composite polymer insulators, said its consolidated earnings per share stood at Rs 3.16 for the quarter, compared with Rs 3.17 in the year-ago period.
