New Delhi: Minda Corporation Ltd on Thursday reported its highest-ever consolidated quarterly revenue of Rs 1,846 crore for the first quarter of FY27, registering a 33.2 per cent year-on-year growth.

The company, part of Spark Minda, said the growth was driven by continued demand across its product portfolio, addition of new customers and increasing focus on premium products.

EBITDA rose 35.4 per cent year-on-year to Rs 212 crore during the quarter, with the operating margin improving to 11.5 per cent from 11.3 per cent in the year-ago period.

Profit before tax surged 235 per cent to Rs 237 crore, while profit after tax jumped 215.8 per cent to Rs 206 crore. The PAT margin stood at 11.2 per cent compared with 4.7 per cent in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. On a sequential basis, revenue increased 8.4 per cent from Rs 1,704 crore in the March quarter, while EBITDA rose 4.1 per cent.

During the quarter, Minda Corporation invested Rs 63 crore in its group companies Spark Minda Green Mobility Systems, Minda HCMF Technologies and Spark Minda-Toyodenso India to support business expansion.

The company said it is also proceeding with the consolidation of Minda VAST into Minda Corporation from the first quarter of FY27. The move is expected to strengthen its presence in the passenger vehicle segment and expand its vehicle access systems portfolio, including locksets, latches, handles, immobilisers, passive entry systems and power access solutions.

“The first quarter of FY27 reflected steady progress in line with our long-term growth strategy, supported by strong demand across key vehicle segments and continued execution across our businesses,” Chairman and Group CEO Ashok Minda said.

He said the company would continue to invest in technology, product innovation and manufacturing capabilities while focusing on premiumisation, operational excellence and sustainable long-term growth.

Minda Corporation said its order pipeline also strengthened during the quarter with new business wins, while strategic partnerships and new product programmes helped expand its technology capabilities.
