Kanpur: EKA Mobility, India’s leading electric commercial vehicle manufacturer and a Champion OEM under the Government of India’s Auto PLI Scheme, on Wednesday inaugurated its first all range dealership in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, in partnership with Stellar Mobility. This milestone marks a significant step in expanding EKA’s sales, distribution, and service network across Northern India, accelerating the adoption of sustainable commercial transportation.

Located in Bhauti, Chakarpur, the dealership will offer EKA’s complete ‘Born Electric’ ranging from electric three-wheelers (EKA 6S, 3S and 3W Cargo) and small commercial vehicles (EKA 1.5T–3.5T) to electric buses (EKA 7M, 9M, 12M, Coach and Low Floor) and the EKA 55T heavy-duty electric truck.

The dealership was inaugurated by Dr. Sudhir Mehta, Founder & Chairman, EKA Mobility, in the presence of Mr. Arihant Mehta, Group President, EKA Mobility, Mr. Rohit Shrivastava, Business Head & Chief Growth Officer, EKA Mobility, alongside Jaspreet Singh and Ashish Jakhodia from Stellar Mobility.

Designed as a fully integrated 3S (Sales, Service and Spares) facility, the dealership will provide comprehensive sales, aftersales support and maintenance services through trained technicians, dedicated workshops and EKA’s proprietary AI-powered fleet management platform – EKA Connect, ensuring maximum vehicle uptime and superior customer experience for fleet operators across Kanpur.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sudhir Mehta, Founder & Chairman, EKA Mobility, said: “With the opening of our first dealership in Kanpur in partnership with Stellar Mobility, we are building a strong and accessible retail ecosystem for our commercial customers in Uttar Pradesh. As demand for electric commercial vehicles grows, easy access to dependable service, spare parts, and long-term fleet support remains essential to making electric mobility practical and profitable. EKA aims to scale to over 200 dealerships in 20+ states by FY27 to support rising demand across major commercial transport hubs nationwide.”

Ashmit Bhatia, CEO Stellar Mobility, said, “Partnering with EKA Mobility allows us to bring world-class electric commercial vehicles to Kanpur’s thriving business and logistics community. From individual operators to fleet owners, our focus is to provide seamless sales and reliable after-sales support to make the EV transition smooth and efficient.”

EKA is an OEM in India that offers a full stack of commercial electrical vehicles from three-wheelers to 55-tonne heavy-duty trucks, all designed, engineered and manufactured in India, supporting the Government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat vision.

The Company currently operates three manufacturing facilities, including its bus manufacturing plant at Koregaon Bhima and its truck and small commercial vehicle (SCV) manufacturing facility at Chakan, Pune. EKA is also developing a new 47-acres manufacturing facility at Pithampur, which will further strengthen its production capabilities. Collectively, these facilities will support an annual production capacity of 10,000 buses, 24,000 SCVs and 4,000 trucks.
