New Delhi: Royal Enfield on Saturday reported a 34 per cent year-on-year increase in total motorcycle sales to 1,18,232 units in July 2026, driven by strong domestic demand, even as exports registered modest growth.

The company had sold 88,045 motorcycles in July 2025. Domestic sales rose 38 per cent to 1,05,317 units last month from 76,254 units in the corresponding month a year ago. Exports increased 10 per cent to 12,915 units in July 2026 as compared with 11,791 units in the year-ago period.

Commenting on the performance, Royal Enfield Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Eicher Motors Ltd, B. Govindarajan, said July was another strong month for the company, supported by steady demand for its core motorcycle portfolio and an encouraging response to its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6.

He said the company is expanding Flying Flea retail sales and service outlets in Bengaluru to cater to rising customer interest. Royal Enfield also concluded the 22nd edition of the Himalayan Odyssey and witnessed the limited-edition Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts sell out within three minutes in India.

Govindarajan said the company is moving ahead with the first phase of its new greenfield manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh to enhance production capacity for long-term growth and remains confident of sustaining momentum during the upcoming festive season.

During the April-July period of the current fiscal, Royal Enfield’s total sales grew 27 per cent to 4,48,659 units from 3,53,573 units in the same period of the previous financial year. Domestic sales rose 33 per cent to 4,06,491 units, while exports declined 13 per cent to 42,168 units.
