Mahindra crosses 1 lakh vehicle sales in July up 26 pc

New Delhi: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) on Saturday reported a 26 per cent year-on-year increase in total vehicle sales to 1,03,860 units in July 2026, driven by strong demand across its SUV and commercial vehicle portfolios.

The company had sold 82,645 vehicles in July 2025, compared with 1,03,860 units in July 2026. Domestic SUV sales rose 20 per cent to 60,048 units from 49,871 units in the same month last year. Including exports, total utility vehicle sales stood at 60,887 units, up from the year-ago period.

Domestic commercial vehicle sales increased 23 per cent to 25,204 units in July. Three-wheeler sales, including electric models, surged 53 per cent to 14,538 units, while light commercial vehicle sales in the sub-2 tonne category grew 40 per cent to 3,870 units. Sales of light commercial vehicles in the 2-3.5 tonne segment rose 21 per cent to 21,334 units.

Exports climbed 47 per cent to 4,070 units during the month compared with 2,774 units a year earlier.

Commenting on the performance, Mahindra & Mahindra Automotive Division CEO Nalinikanth Gollagunta said the company recorded SUV sales of 60,048 units in July, registering 20 per cent growth, while total vehicle sales rose 26 per cent year-on-year to 1,03,860 units, reflecting broad-based demand across its product portfolio.
