New Delhi: Escorts Kubota Limited on Thursday reported a 29.6 per cent rise in standalone net profit from continuing operations at Rs 324.8 crore for the quarter ended March 2026, driven by strong growth in tractor sales and improved operating margins.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 250.7 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. Revenue from continuing operations during the January-March quarter rose 21.4 per cent to Rs 2,950.7 crore, compared to Rs 2,430.3 crore a year earlier.
EBIDTA for the quarter increased 31.8 per cent to Rs 386 crore, while margins improved by 103 basis points to 13.1 per cent, the company said in a statement.
Tractor sales volume during the quarter grew 21.1 per cent to 32,257 units from 26,633 units in the year-ago period, while construction equipment volumes rose 9.2 per cent to 1,877 units.
For the full financial year 2025-26, the company’s revenue from continuing operations rose 12.6 per cent to Rs 11,472.8 crore, while net profit from continuing operations climbed 24.4 per cent to Rs 1,380.9 crore.
The company said profit after tax, including discontinued operations and exceptional items, surged 92.5 per cent to Rs 2,408.6 crore during FY26, aided by the successful divestment of its railway business.
