Hyderabad: Olectra Greentech Limited delivered its strongest quarterly performance to date in the third quarter of FY26, posting record revenue and a sharp rise in electric vehicle deliveries as demand for clean mobility solutions gathered pace.
The Hyderabad-based electric vehicle maker reported consolidated revenue of ₹663.60 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, a 29 percent increase over ₹515.37 crore in the same period last year. The strong topline growth was driven by its highest-ever quarterly delivery of 385 electric vehicles, up from 282 units a year ago, marking a 37 percent year-on-year surge.
Operational performance remained steady, with EBITDA rising 19 percent to ₹97.10 crore compared with ₹81.77 crore in Q3 FY25, reflecting improved scale and cost control. Profit before tax stood at ₹64.07 crore, marginally higher than ₹61.95 crore in the year-ago quarter, while profit after tax came in at ₹46.68 crore, broadly flat compared to ₹46.62 crore last year. Earnings per share edged up to ₹5.65 from ₹5.64.
Olectra’s order book continued to provide strong visibility, standing at 9,439 electric vehicles as of the end of the quarter. Cumulative deliveries have reached 3,639 units, underscoring the company’s growing footprint in the domestic electric mobility space. Management said the quarterly EBITDA performance highlighted its ability to scale operations without compromising efficiency.
The company also reported healthy growth for the nine-month period ended December 31, 2025. Revenue for the first nine months of FY26 rose 23 percent year-on-year to ₹1,667.45 crore, compared with ₹1,352.98 crore in the corresponding period last year. EBITDA increased 13 percent to ₹246.08 crore, while profit after tax grew 3 percent to ₹122.14 crore.
Commenting on the results, Managing Director Mahesh Babu said the quarter marked a significant operational milestone for the company. He noted that the record deliveries included 24 electric tippers and reflected consistent execution and a sustained focus on efficiency. He also highlighted the certification of Olectra’s Blade Battery packs, describing it as a first-of-its-kind achievement in the Indian electric bus segment.
According to Babu, production of new buses equipped with Blade Battery technology is expected to begin next quarter, which is likely to further strengthen Olectra’s technology-led growth strategy. With demand for sustainable public transport solutions accelerating across the country, he said the company remains focused on innovation while consolidating its leadership position in India’s electric vehicle market.
