New Delhi: In a strategic move aimed at reinforcing its growth trajectory in the Indian automotive market, Kia India, a leading premium carmaker, has announced a significant leadership transition. Mr. Sunhack Park has been appointed as the company’s Chief Sales Officer (CSO), while Mr. Joonsu Cho will take over as Chief Business Officer (CBO).
In his new role, Mr. Park will be responsible for steering Kia India’s sales strategy, with a strong focus on sustainable growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and expanding the brand’s reach across the country. Bringing with him 28 years of international experience in the automotive sector, he has previously held key leadership positions at Kia Headquarters in South Korea, the Middle East & Africa (MEA), and India. His appointment signals Kia’s intent to strengthen its market presence while delivering value to customers and partners alike.
Mr. Joonsu Cho, as CBO, will lead the formulation and execution of comprehensive business strategies encompassing production planning, export logistics, cross-functional team leadership, and strategic alliances, ensuring operational excellence at all levels. With more than 32 years of leadership experience, Mr. Cho has held prominent global roles across Australia, the United Kingdom, and Europe, bringing a wealth of knowledge in scaling business operations and driving organizational efficiency.
