Rajkot: Three-wheeler manufacturer Atul Auto Ltd reported a 290 per cent year-on-year jump in consolidated profit after tax to Rs 8.04 crore for the first quarter of FY27, driven by higher sales and improved profitability.

The company had posted a consolidated PAT of Rs 2.06 crore in the April-June quarter of the previous fiscal.

Consolidated revenue from operations rose 42.97 per cent to Rs 218.43 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 152.78 crore in the year-ago period.

Consolidated profit before tax increased more than threefold to Rs 10.77 crore from Rs 3.25 crore in Q1 FY26, Atul Auto said in a statement.

The company sold 9,878 three-wheelers during the quarter, compared with 6,929 units in the corresponding period last fiscal, registering a growth of 42.56 per cent.

On a standalone basis, revenue from operations increased 44.67 per cent year-on-year to Rs 206.93 crore from Rs 143.03 crore.

Standalone profit before tax rose 34.23 per cent to Rs 9.02 crore from Rs 6.72 crore, while profit after tax increased 33.74 per cent to Rs 6.74 crore from Rs 5.04 crore in Q1 FY26.

Standalone three-wheeler sales stood at 9,878 units during the quarter, against 6,932 units in the year-ago period, representing a growth of 42.5 per cent.

The company said its performance during the quarter reflected a strong improvement in operational and financial parameters, supported by higher three-wheeler volumes and improved profitability.

Basic and diluted earnings per share stood at Rs 2.86 on a consolidated basis during Q1 FY27, compared with Rs 1.06 in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

Atul Auto is one of India’s established manufacturers of three-wheelers, catering to passenger and goods transportation segments.
