Varroc Appoints Eric Hamon as Chief Technical Officer

Pune: Varroc, a leading global automotive technology company, on Monday announced the appointment of Eric Hamon as Chief Technical Officer (CTO), effective 3rd August 2026.
Eric joins Varroc with more than 25 years of global automotive technology and engineering leadership experience. A seasoned executive with deep expertise in electrification, electrical-electronics, software-defined vehicles (SDVs), connected systems, embedded software, functional safety and cybersecurity, he has successfully led large-scale global R&D organizations, developed next-generation mobility technologies and partnered with leading automotive OEMs to deliver innovative, safety-critical solutions.
In his new role, Eric will report to Arjun Jain, Whole Time Director & CEO – Business I, Varroc, and will lead the company’s technology and engineering organization. He will be responsible for defining Varroc’s technology strategy and innovation roadmap, accelerating product portfolio optimization across electrification, electrical-electronics and connected systems, advancing engineering excellence through process optimization and industrialization, and strengthening technical engagement with customers and strategic technology partners. He will also drive the development of future-ready technologies that reinforce Varroc’s commitment to delivering safe, smart and sustainable mobility solutions.

Prior to joining Varroc, Eric served as Director – E Axle & System Platforms at Valeo E, where he led the global product strategy for eAxle platforms. Over the course of his career, Eric has built a strong reputation for combining strategic technology leadership with execution excellence. His experience spans technology road-mapping, system engineering, embedded hardware and software development, electrified powertrain systems, connectivity, digital transformation and global engineering operations. He has successfully led multicultural teams, driven innovation across multiple regions and secured strategic customer programs through deep technical collaboration with global OEMs.
Eric’s appointment underscores Varroc’s continued investment in strengthening its global engineering and innovation capabilities as the company expands its technology portfolio to address the rapidly evolving needs of mobility customers worldwide.
