Tata Motors PV sales surge 59 pc in July as EV volumes more than double

New Delhi: Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd (TMPVL) on Saturday reported a 59 per cent year-on-year increase in total passenger vehicle sales, including electric vehicles, to 63,760 units in July 2026, driven by strong growth in both domestic and international markets.

The company had sold 40,175 units in July 2025, compared with 63,760 units in July 2026.
Domestic passenger vehicle sales rose 58 per cent to 62,611 units last month from 39,521 units in the corresponding month a year ago. International business also posted strong growth, with exports increasing 76 per cent to 1,149 units from 654 units.

Electric vehicle sales, including domestic and international markets, more than doubled to 15,217 units in July, registering a 114 per cent growth over 7,124 units sold in the year-ago month.

The passenger vehicle sales figures include volumes of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd, a subsidiary of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd.
