Pune: EKA Mobility on Tuesday announced a rapid expansion of its authorised dealership network across the country as the commercial electric vehicle maker looks to accelerate last-mile EV adoption by strengthening sales and service infrastructure.

The company said it currently has 60 operational dealerships across 15 states, while more than 30 additional exclusive outlets are set to become operational soon.

The expansion is aimed at addressing key challenges affecting electric vehicle adoption in the commercial mobility segment, particularly concerns related to after-sales support, servicing infrastructure and vehicle uptime.

Backed by investors including Mitsui & Co., VDL Group, NIIF India-Japan Fund and Enam Holdings, the company said the network expansion will focus on logistics corridors, urban centres and emerging Tier II and Tier III markets witnessing increasing electrification demand.

EKA Mobility, a Champion OEM under the Government of India’s Auto PLI Scheme, said the enlarged network will support sectors such as e-commerce, FMCG distribution, logistics and public transport.

According to the company, each dealership is being equipped with dedicated commercial EV service infrastructure, including at least two service bays, trained technical manpower and assured spare parts availability to improve fleet uptime and operational reliability.

Business Head and Chief Growth Officer Rohit Srivastava said last-mile connectivity remains central to India’s mobility transformation and the company is building an accessible retail ecosystem to support growing demand for electric commercial vehicles.

He said the company plans to expand its network to over 200 dealerships across more than 20 states by FY27 to strengthen market reach and customer support capabilities.

The company said its dealerships will showcase its “Born Electric” portfolio comprising electric three-wheelers, small commercial vehicles, buses and trucks.

Its portfolio includes the EKA 3W Cargo for urban logistics, EKA 6S passenger electric three-wheeler, EKA 3S city mobility vehicle, and electric small commercial vehicles ranging from 1.5 tonne to 3.5 tonne capacity.

The company also offers electric buses including 7-metre, 9-metre and 12-metre variants, along with coaches and low-floor buses designed for urban and intercity mobility applications.

Its truck portfolio includes the EKA 7T and 55T electric haulage vehicles. EKA Mobility said all vehicles are integrated with EKA Connect, its AI-powered fleet management platform that offers real-time tracking, predictive diagnostics and operational analytics for fleet operators.

The company said the dealership expansion aligns with its broader strategy of strengthening ecosystem readiness for commercial electric mobility by improving access to service infrastructure, training and long-term operational support.
