Bengaluru: Bosch Limited recorded a steady performance in the second quarter of FY26, reporting a consolidated net profit of ₹554 crore, a 3.4 percent rise from ₹536 crore in the same period last year. The increase was supported by continued demand for the company’s automotive components and consumer electronics portfolio. Revenue from operations grew 9.1 percent year-on-year to ₹4,795 crore, up from ₹4,394 crore in Q2FY25. Total expenses rose 8.9 percent to ₹4,274 crore, led by higher material costs.
Alongside the consolidated results, the company highlighted its operational performance, noting that revenue growth was driven by strong traction in the passenger car and off-highway markets. Bosch posted Profit Before Tax of ₹730 crore, excluding exceptional items, which accounted for 15.2 percent of total revenue and reflected a 7.9 percent increase from last year. The previous year’s quarter had included a one-time gain of ₹49 crore from the sale of the OE diagnostics business.
Guruprasad Mudlapur, President of the Bosch Group in India and Managing Director of Bosch Limited, said the quarter’s performance reflects the company’s resilience and continued emphasis on innovation and customer requirements. He noted that strong demand in passenger cars, off-highway applications and key automotive components supported the company’s upward momentum.
The automotive segment saw a clear rise, with product sales increasing by 11.9 percent over the previous year. Power Solutions recorded 9.5 percent growth, driven by continued interest in the passenger car and off-highway categories. The 2-Wheeler division posted a significant jump of 81.8 percent due to higher sales of exhaust gas sensors following the rollout of OBD II norms from April 1, 2025. Mobility Aftermarket operations grew 3.7 percent, supported by diesel and filter systems, although GST 2.0 had a dampening effect on turnover during the quarter. Meanwhile, the Beyond Mobility segment reported a 14.4 percent decline after Bosch divested its video solutions, access and intrusion, and communication systems businesses earlier this year.
Mudlapur said the company is entering the next quarter with optimism, supported by festive demand and GST rationalisation. He added that improving customer sentiment and continued component demand provide Bosch with strong momentum as it looks to expand its offerings with a customer-first strategy.
