New Delhi: Kia India, the mass-premium arm of the global automotive giant, has announced a robust year-on-year (YoY) growth of 14.43% for the month of May 2025, with 22,315 vehicles dispatched in the domestic market. This marks a significant increase over the 19,500 units sold in May 2024 and continues the brand’s upward trajectory for the fifth consecutive month.

Central to Kia India’s strong performance this month is the enthusiastic market reception to its latest launch—the Carens Clavis. The newly introduced model has resonated deeply with Indian consumers, contributing substantially to the company’s May sales figures. Its successful debut reinforces Kia’s reputation for anticipating and addressing evolving customer preferences with aspirational and value-driven offerings.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Hardeep Singh Brar, Senior Vice President and National Head of Sales & Marketing at Kia India, attributed the growth to the trust Indian families have placed in the brand. “The tremendous response to the Carens Clavis underscores the deep trust Indian families place in the Kia brand. With Clavis, we are looking forward to setting new benchmarks in the segment and making it more dynamic than ever before,” he said.

He further added that Kia’s performance in May reflects the growing appeal of its diverse product lineup. “Our strong sales performance in May reflects the growing resonance of Kia’s diverse offerings across segments. This momentum validates our ongoing efforts to expand and strengthen our product portfolio in line with evolving customer needs,” he remarked.

Kia India’s latest sales figures highlight not only consumer confidence in the brand but also its strategic agility in developing products that align with both aspirations and market trends. The Carens Clavis, with its thoughtful blend of style, space, and advanced features, represents Kia’s commitment to delivering premium experiences in an accessible package.

Looking ahead, the company is poised to further intensify its innovation drive. In line with its focus on future-ready mobility and customer-centricity, Kia India is preparing to unveil a new product in July 2025. According to the company, this upcoming model is set to disrupt its segment by integrating sustainability, cutting-edge design, and advanced technologies. Designed with a deep understanding of Indian consumer aspirations, the new offering will aim to further elevate Kia’s standing in the market as a brand synonymous with innovation and dependability.

As Kia India continues to expand its portfolio and refine its market approach, the company remains steadfast in its vision to deliver vehicles that inspire confidence, fulfill modern mobility needs, and enhance the everyday lives of its customers across the country.
