SML Mahindra sales jump 18% in September

New Delhi: Mahindra Ltd, formerly known as SML Isuzu Ltd, on Thursday reported an 18 per cent year-on-year increase in total vehicle sales at 1,124 units in September 2026, compared with 950 units in the same month last year.

According to the company’s regulatory filing, cargo vehicle sales rose 39 per cent to 516 units in September 2026 from 370 units in the year-ago month.

Passenger vehicle sales increased 5 per cent to 608 units during the month from 580 units in September 2025.

For the April-September period of the current fiscal, SML Mahindra’s total sales stood at 9,340 units, up 15 per cent from 8,145 units in the corresponding period of 2025-26.

Cargo vehicle sales during the six-month period increased 5 per cent to 2,534 units from 2,422 units, while passenger vehicle sales rose 19 per cent to 6,806 units from 5,723 units.
