Bengaluru: TVS Motor Company on Tuesday introduced the TVS iQube MillionR Special Edition to mark the electric scooter crossing the one-million customer milestone.

The special edition is based on the TVS iQube 3.5 kWh variant and offers an IDC range of 145 km. It comes in an exclusive Aurora Green Dual Tone colour inspired by the Northern Lights, along with premium seat upholstery, exclusive MillionR badging and new graphics.

The company said the new edition also brings additional convenience features, including a front utility storage compartment and a USB Type-C charging port. The additional storage increases the scooter’s total capacity from 32 litres to 35.5 litres.

The MillionR edition also comes with more than 118 connected technology features, TVS Motor said.

The special edition is priced at Rs 1,40,138, effective ex-showroom, Karnataka. The TVS iQube range starts at Rs 1,11,310, while BaaS prices start at Rs 59,999.

“TVS Motor has played a significant role in the scooterisation of India. Over the years, we have remained focused on creating mobility solutions that move Indian families forward, irrespective of the drivetrain,” Aniruddha Haldar, Senior Vice President, Head Commuter & EV Business and Head Corporate Brand & Media, TVS Motor Company, said.

He said the one-million milestone of TVS iQube represents a significant chapter in the company’s journey and reflects the progress electric mobility has made in India.

Haldar said TVS Jupiter had also celebrated reaching one million customers with a MillionR Edition in 2016, adding that TVS iQube now joins the legacy with its own MillionR edition.

TVS Motor said iQube has been instrumental in strengthening its position in India’s electric two-wheeler market and has contributed to the company emerging as the No. 1 player by market share this year.
