New Delhi: Kia India on Saturday reported a 27.4 per cent year-on-year increase in wholesale dispatches to 28,200 units in July 2026, driven by strong demand for its SUV and MPV portfolio.

The automaker had dispatched 22,135 units to dealers in July 2025. The company said the July performance was its highest-ever wholesale sales for the month since it began operations in India.

“Our best-ever July wholesale performance reflects the continued trust of our customers and the strong acceptance of Kia’s diverse product portfolio. Building on our record H1 performance, we have maintained healthy momentum across key segments,” Kia India Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Atul Sood said.

Kia attributed the growth to sustained demand for its key models, including the Seltos and Sonet, along with a positive market response to the Carens Clavis, Carens Clavis EV and MY26 Syros.

The Seltos continued to be the company’s key volume driver, averaging more than 10,000 units in monthly sales since January this year, the automaker said.

On a year-to-date basis, Seltos and Sonet registered sales growth of 75.7 per cent and 34.5 per cent, respectively.

The company also said its recently launched Syros EV, its second made-in-India mass-market electric SUV, has received encouraging customer response with strong initial bookings. The model offers a claimed driving range of over 500 km along with advanced technology features.

Kia India’s performance comes amid robust growth reported by several passenger vehicle manufacturers in July, supported by healthy demand across key segments.
