New Delhi: Eicher Trucks and Buses delivered an upbeat performance in November 2025, comfortably beating market expectations and extending its growth streak across key commercial vehicle segments. The company reported total sales of 7,652 units, including electric vehicles, up from 5,574 units in November last year. The 37.3 percent jump came in well above the estimated 7,400 units that analysts had projected for the month.
The Eicher-branded portfolio drove most of the momentum with 7,425 units, reflecting a 38.6 percent rise over the previous year. The surge was led by the small commercial vehicle and light-to-medium-duty truck category below 18.5 tonnes, which grew more than 50 percent to 4,057 units. Heavy-duty trucks also stayed on a firm footing, posting a 41.1 percent increase to 1,805 units.
Domestic demand remained broad-based and steady. Eicher sold 6,720 units in India, a rise of 35.6 percent over last November. While truck volumes continued to strengthen across segments, buses presented a mixed picture. LMD bus sales fell slightly to 808 units, and the heavy-duty bus segment remained under pressure, closing at 50 units, down more than 60 percent. Despite these pockets of softness, the company’s core truck business kept overall domestic performance firmly in positive territory.
Exports stood out as one of the strongest contributors to November’s results. Overseas shipments rose to 705 units, up 75.4 percent from a year earlier. Light- and medium-duty exports expanded nearly 39 percent, while heavy-duty truck exports posted the sharpest jump, rising more than sevenfold. Bus exports more than doubled to 201 units, underlining rising traction in overseas markets.
Volvo-branded trucks and buses added 227 units in November, a modest but steady 5.6 percent increase over last year.
For the financial year so far, VECV’s cumulative sales have reached 59,213 units, up 11.4 percent from the same period in 2024–25. Of this, Eicher-branded vehicles accounted for 57,585 units, an increase of 11.6 percent. Domestic volumes rose to 52,920 units, and exports grew 54.3 percent to 4,665 units, pointing to sustained strength in international demand.
