Its order book has grown from around 70 trucks in March 2026 to more than 450 trucks that are signed, under deployment or in the pipeline.<br>SwitchLabs said it has secured lease commitments for more than 250 trucks through partnerships with leading original equipment manufacturers and leasing platforms, with additional deals under closure.<br>The company counts Tata Steel, JSW Steel, United Phosphorus Limited, Dalmia Cement and JK Lakshmi Cement among its enterprise customers across the cement, metals and industrial sectors.<br>SwitchLabs provides electric trucks, charging and energy infrastructure, fleet operations, technology and carbon reporting through an integrated platform aimed at helping large enterprises transition to electric freight.<br>&#8220;In about a year, we have gone from a single truck on the road to being on track for 250 electric heavy-duty trucks by December 2026, with an order book that has grown from about 70 to over 450 trucks,&#8221; SwitchLabs CEO and Co-founder Ajay Pratap Singh said.<br>He said the company was focused on providing enterprises with a single partner for trucks, charging, operations and technology while ensuring reliable deployment and fleet performance.<br>The company said the deployment of the 450 trucks is expected to help avoid around 50,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions.<br>SwitchLabs said its customer base has expanded from JK Lakshmi Cement to companies including Tata Steel, JSW Steel, UPL and Dalmia Cement, reflecting growing demand for electric freight solutions across industrial supply chains.<br>&#8220;Electric freight is no longer just a sustainability goal. It is increasingly a business decision driven by cost, energy security and reliability,&#8221; SwitchLabs Co-founder Anish Kumar said.<br>The company is targeting the addition of around 450 trucks to its operating fleet by March 2027.
