However, EBITDA margin declined to 18.9 per cent from 22.5 per cent amid supply-chain disruptions, geopolitical tensions and pressure on commodity prices.

Profit before tax and exceptional items increased 6.7 per cent year-on-year to Rs 195.2 crore during the quarter, compared with Rs 183 crore in Q1 FY26. The company said finance costs increased by Rs 25.2 crore to fund the Antolin acquisition, which it expects to normalise after repayment of the debt.

Consolidated profit after tax rose 9.4 per cent to Rs 147.6 crore from Rs 134.9 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. PAT margin stood at 9.8 per cent against 13.6 per cent a year earlier.

On a standalone basis, total income grew 11.7 per cent to Rs 962.7 crore from Rs 862.2 crore in Q1 FY26. It also maintained its export momentum through increased penetration in newer segments and geographies.

During the quarter, the company progressed with the integration of its recently acquired auto interior solutions and lighting businesses. It also completed the acquisition of piston manufacturing lines from Sunbeam Lightweighting Solutions Pvt Ltd, which is expected to augment piston manufacturing capacity and improve operational efficiency.

The company said it remained optimistic about its growth prospects, supported by its core business, expanding powertrain-agnostic portfolio and focus on operational excellence.

New Delhi: SPR Auto Technologies Ltd, formerly known as Shriram Pistons & Rings Ltd, reported a 51.2 per cent year-on-year growth in consolidated total income at Rs 1,499.2 crore for the first quarter of FY27, driven by strong performance across businesses and consolidation of its auto interior solutions and lighting businesses.
