{"id":4586,"date":"2026-07-29T07:11:37","date_gmt":"2026-07-29T07:11:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/automobilitymag.com\/?p=4586"},"modified":"2026-07-29T07:11:39","modified_gmt":"2026-07-29T07:11:39","slug":"nrb-bearings-fy26-pat-jumps-77-on-margin-gains","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/automobilitymag.com\/index.php\/2026\/07\/29\/nrb-bearings-fy26-pat-jumps-77-on-margin-gains\/","title":{"rendered":"NRB Bearings FY26 PAT jumps 77% on margin gains"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mumbai: NRB Bearings Ltd on Wednesday reported a 77 per cent jump in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to \u20b9146 crore for FY26, driven by improved operational efficiency, higher margins and steady demand from the automotive sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company&#8217;s revenue from operations rose 11 per cent to \u20b91,335 crore during the financial year, while EBITDA increased 19 per cent to \u20b9267 crore, reflecting improved profitability. The financial results were presented at the company&#8217;s 61st Annual General Meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company said its return on equity (ROE) improved to 15 per cent from 9 per cent a year ago, while return on capital employed (ROCE) increased to 20 per cent from 13 per cent. Return on invested capital (ROIC) also improved by six percentage points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On a standalone basis, profit after tax more than doubled compared with the previous financial year, supported by disciplined cost management, structural margin improvement and operational excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chairman Tashwinder Singh said India&#8217;s strong economic fundamentals, increasing localisation, the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme and the global China Plus One sourcing strategy are creating long-term opportunities for the automotive and auto components industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company is expanding beyond its traditional automotive business into aerospace, industrial applications, electrification, robotics, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), heavy construction equipment and advanced friction solutions. It has also acquired a pre-certified aerospace platform to accelerate its entry into the sector by reducing OEM certification timelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vice Chairman and Managing Director Harshbeena Zaveri said the company will continue investing in research and development, advanced manufacturing, capacity expansion and product innovation to strengthen its position in high-growth precision engineering segments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NRB Bearings said its strong cash generation, disciplined capital allocation and customer diversification have positioned it well to capitalise on opportunities in electric mobility, defence, railways, aerospace and industrial automation while delivering sustainable long-term growth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mumbai: NRB Bearings Ltd on Wednesday reported a 77 per cent jump in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to \u20b9146 crore for FY26, driven by improved operational efficiency, higher margins and steady demand from the automotive sector.
