{"id":4559,"date":"2026-07-23T11:30:23","date_gmt":"2026-07-23T11:30:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/automobilitymag.com\/?p=4559"},"modified":"2026-07-23T11:30:23","modified_gmt":"2026-07-23T11:30:23","slug":"schaeffler-india-q2-net-profit-rises-13-5-pc-on-strong-revenue-growth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/automobilitymag.com\/index.php\/2026\/07\/23\/schaeffler-india-q2-net-profit-rises-13-5-pc-on-strong-revenue-growth\/","title":{"rendered":"Schaeffler India Q2 net profit rises 13.5 pc on strong revenue growth"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pune: Mobility tech firm Schaeffler India Ltd on Wednesday reported a 13.47 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 336.7 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, driven by robust growth across its automotive technologies, vehicle lifetime solutions and intercompany exports businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company had posted a consolidated net profit of about Rs 296.7 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Revenue from operations rose 17.5 per cent to Rs 2,681.4 crore in the April-June quarter from Rs 2,282.2 crore in the year-ago period. On a sequential basis, revenue increased 7 per cent over the January-March quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Profit before tax (before exceptional items) grew 13.7 per cent to Rs 452.5 crore during the quarter, while the PBT margin stood at 16.9 per cent compared with 17.4 per cent in the corresponding quarter last year. Net profit margin for the quarter was 12.6 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the first six months of 2026, the company&#8217;s revenue from operations increased 18.1 per cent to Rs 5,188.4 crore, while profit before tax (before exceptional items) rose 16.5 per cent to Rs 878.2 crore. Net profit for the January-June period stood at Rs 656.4 crore, with a net profit margin of 12.7 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Commenting on the performance, Schaeffler India Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Harsha Kadam said the company delivered strong growth in the first half of the year, led by double-digit expansion in its automotive technologies, vehicle lifetime solutions and intercompany exports businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite a challenging market environment, the company recorded 7 per cent quarter-on-quarter revenue growth, he said, adding that earnings were marginally impacted by cost pressures arising from geopolitical developments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kadam said Schaeffler India remained committed to maintaining its growth momentum for the remainder of the year despite volatility in the macroeconomic environment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pune: Mobility tech firm Schaeffler India Ltd on Wednesday reported a 13.47 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 336.7 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, driven by robust growth across its automotive technologies, vehicle lifetime solutions and intercompany exports businesses.
