The flag-off ceremony was held in Jaipur in the presence of senior government officials and transport authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The flag-off marks the first phase of deployment under EKA Mobility&#8217;s order for 876 electric buses in Rajasthan, awarded in consortium with Chartered Speed under the PM e-Bus Sewa initiative. These buses have been procured and will be operated and deployed across eight cities in the state by Chartered Speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Commenting on the occasion, Dr. Sudhir Mehta, Founder &amp; Chairman, EKA Mobility, said: &#8220;We are honoured to partner with the Government of Rajasthan in its journey towards building a cleaner and more sustainable transportation ecosystem.<br>The flag-off of EKA electric buses by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma is a testament to the state&#8217;s strong commitment towards green mobility. This growing national footprint reflects our commitment to supporting India&#8217;s transition to green mobility while improving the quality of life for millions through modern, inclusive and sustainable public transport.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Built on EKA&#8217;s advanced electric vehicle platform, the buses are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, offering superior passenger comfort, enhanced safety features, intelligent fleet management capabilities and zero tailpipe emissions. Designed with inclusivity at its core, the buses feature a dedicated wheelchair lift door mechanism for Divyang passengers, enabling safe and convenient boarding and deboarding for wheelchair users and promoting accessible public transportation for all.
