{"id":4409,"date":"2026-06-01T13:27:22","date_gmt":"2026-06-01T13:27:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/automobilitymag.com\/?p=4409"},"modified":"2026-06-01T13:27:22","modified_gmt":"2026-06-01T13:27:22","slug":"dhoot-transmission-ties-up-with-israels-ridevision-for-adas-push-in-india","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/automobilitymag.com\/index.php\/2026\/06\/01\/dhoot-transmission-ties-up-with-israels-ridevision-for-adas-push-in-india\/","title":{"rendered":"Dhoot Transmission ties up with Israel\u2019s RideVision for ADAS push in India"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Staff Writer<br>Mumbai: Dhoot Transmission Limited has partnered with Israel-based RideVision to develop and localise Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) solutions for the Indian market, marking its entry into intelligent mobility and automotive safety technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The partnership, backed by Bain Capital, aims to bring globally proven ADAS technologies to India while adapting them to local road conditions and mobility requirements, the company said on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dhoot Transmission said the collaboration will strengthen its advanced electronics portfolio and accelerate its expansion into next-generation automotive electronics and intelligent mobility solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company added that its focus will be on localisation, technology integration and development of safety systems tailored for India\u2019s rapidly evolving mobility ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of its broader expansion strategy, Dhoot Transmission said its subsidiary Dhoot Automotive Systems Private Limited has also entered into a business transfer agreement with Bengaluru-based Multilink to enhance its capabilities in electronics and advanced technology solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Naveen Kumar, Chief Executive Officer \u2013 India (Wiring Harness and Electronics), Dhoot Transmission, said the partnership comes at the right time for India\u2019s mobility transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe believe this is the right time to bring intelligent safety technologies to India. Our partnership with RideVision combines global ADAS expertise with our deep understanding of the Indian market to develop solutions specifically engineered for Indian road and operating conditions. Together, we aim to make mobility in India safer, smarter, and future-ready,\u201d Kumar said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">RideVision Founder and Chief Executive Officer Uri Lavi said India is entering a new phase of smart mobility with strong potential to improve road safety outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIndia stands at the precipice of a fascinating new era of smart mobility\u2014one that will have a profound, measurable impact on saving lives every single day.
