Total tractor sales, including exports, rose 22 per cent to 49,695 units during the month under review from 40,643 units a year earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Exports stood at 1,850 units in May 2026, up 7 per cent from 1,729 units in the year-ago period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mahindra &amp; Mahindra President, Farm Equipment Business, Veejay Nakra said the growth was driven by timely completion of Rabi harvesting and favourable terms of trade for farmers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added that the company recorded export sales of 1,850 tractors during the month, reflecting growth across overseas markets.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Staff WriterMumbai: Mahindra &amp; Mahindra&#8217;s Farm Equipment Business on Monday reported a 23 per cent increase in domestic tractor sales at 47,845 units in May 2026, aided by favourable farm conditions and strong rural demand.
