Passenger vehicle sales rose 26 per cent year-on-year to 1,423 units last month from 1,130 units in the corresponding month of the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, cargo vehicle sales declined 17 per cent to 344 units in May 2026 compared with 413 units a year earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the April-May period of the current financial year, the company reported total sales of 3,508 units, up 15 per cent from 3,055 units in the year-ago period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Passenger vehicle sales during the two-month period increased 22 per cent to 2,754 units from 2,253 units, while cargo vehicle sales fell 6 per cent to 754 units from 802 units in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Staff WriterNew Delhi: SML Mahindra Ltd on Monday reported a 15 per cent increase in total vehicle sales for May 2026 at 1,767 units, driven by robust growth in its passenger vehicle segment.
