In doing so, Eicher has transformed its otherwise invisible engineering advantages into a universally understood narrative—elevating complex B2B capabilities into a relatable and credible story, rather than relying on conventional product messaging.

The initiative reinforces Eicher’s legacy of driving modernization in commercial mobility, while showcasing the strength of its Make-in-India engineering at scale through proof-led storytelling.

Vinod Aggarwal, MD & CEO, VE Commercial Vehicles, said, “For more than four decades, Eicher trucks and Buses have earned customer trust through leadership in fuel efficiency and application-specific engineering. The record-setting performance of the Eicher Pro X reinforces our unwavering focus on application excellence, reliability, and performance, anchored in robust product development and manufacturing capabilities, and enabled by a customer-centric, pan-India commercial and dealer network. I commend the entire Eicher team for achieving these well-deserved records”.

SS Gill, Chief Commercial Officer, VE Commercial Vehicles, said, “By covering the K2K route with a loaded Pro X EV, Eicher Trucks & Buses has proven that electric mobility is no longer restricted to short-haul, ‘last-mile’ deliveries. We are not just setting records, but through the strength of our service network and extensive dealer set-up, we are demonstrating that our EV technology is commercially viable, reliable, and has the range to serve as the backbone of India’s green logistics corridors”.

Commenting on this milestone, Abhishek Chaudhary, SVP, SCV – Sales & Marketing, VECV, said: “The K2K milestone is a strong validation of the Eicher Pro X EV’s engineering capability under real-world operating conditions. More importantly, it reinforces our long-standing approach of driving modernization in commercial mobility—where product innovation is translated into demonstrable performance. By showcasing this capability at scale, the initiative not only builds confidence in electric mobility as an economical source of providing logistical solution but also strengthens trust through proof, not promise.”

The initiative was brought to life through a strategic collaboration with Raman Nayak (Behind The Wheels), one of the most credible voices in the commercial vehicle ecosystem. The journey was independently adjudicated by the India Book of Records, ensuring transparency and third-party validation. This combination of influencer-led documentation and formal recognition enabled Eicher to translate advanced technology into experience-led storytelling—making EV capability more accessible and trustworthy for fleet operators and logistics players.

The gruelling K2K journey through hills, cities, highways, ghats and scenic coastal routes, with temperatures ranging from -2°C to +40°C, was captured through a multi-episode video series across YouTube and social platforms. The content showcased real-world aspects of EV operations such as terrain shifts, charging halts, route planning, and optimizing vehicle performance. To further proliferate the narrative, regional creators across the route were engaged to produce hyperlocal content, enabling the story to be seen in local languages and extend beyond traditional automotive audiences—thereby establishing a new marketing template for the CV industry, where product proof, creator-led documentation, and third-party validation come together to build trust.

Commenting on the campaign, Bhagwan K. Bindiganavile, EVP – Strategic Planning, Brand & Communications, VECV, said, “For us, the K2K initiative was about rethinking how we communicate with customers- not just addressing stated needs, but also the unspoken concerns and creating a long-term memory with audiences. In the commercial vehicle industry, trust is built through proof, and taking a production vehicle on a journey of this scale was a deliberate move to move beyond conventional marketing and demonstrate capability in a real, unfiltered and conclusive manner. This is what ‘Eicher Nayi Soch, Naye Raaste’ stands for—challenging traditional approaches and adopting new ways to drive efficiency in logistics in line with the ambitious targets of Gati Shakti.”

Aligned with the Government of India’s vision for Gati Shakti and Net Zero 2070, this expedition serves as a powerful real-world demonstration that Eicher Trucks and Buses’ Make-in-India Electric Vehicles are a trusted partner for logistics players spearheading the nation’s transition to a greener, decarbonised logistics ecosystem.

As part of the campaign, the Eicher Pro X EV successfully completed the 4,100-kilometre journey from the iconic Lal Chowk in Srinagar to Kanyakumari in six days under fully loaded conditions, setting four records recognised by the India Book of Records.
