The company also announced an order win for 250 additional electric prime movers, signalling growing momentum in zero\u2011emission heavy\u2011duty freight transport. The fleet will be delivered in a phased manner and deployed across key freight corridors in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Delhi NCR and Haryana, supporting long\u2011haul movement of steel, cement and other industrial goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first batch of trucks was handed over in the presence of Mr. Girish Wagh, Managing Director &amp; CEO, Tata Motors Ltd.; Mr. Kartikey Hariyani, Founder, BillionE Mobility and ChargeZone; and Mr. Rajesh Kaul, Vice President and Business Head \u2013 Trucks, Tata Motors Ltd., along with senior leadership teams from both organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Receiving the e-trucks, Mr. Kartikey Hariyani, Founder of BillionE &amp; ChargeZone and Mr. Sanjeev Kulkarni, CEO, BillionE Mobility, said, \u201cOur focus at Billion Electric Mobility is on building electric commercial vehicle solutions that can be deployed reliably, and at scale across real freight operations for inter-city routes. Powered by a 450kWh battery pack, the truck offers a range of up to 350 km on a single charge.
