{"id":4043,"date":"2026-04-02T19:03:03","date_gmt":"2026-04-02T19:03:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/automobilitymag.com\/?p=4043"},"modified":"2026-04-02T19:03:04","modified_gmt":"2026-04-02T19:03:04","slug":"mahindra-last-mile-mobility-retains-top-spot-in-electric-cvs-for-fourth-straight-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/automobilitymag.com\/index.php\/2026\/04\/02\/mahindra-last-mile-mobility-retains-top-spot-in-electric-cvs-for-fourth-straight-year\/","title":{"rendered":"Mahindra Last Mile Mobility retains top spot in electric CVs for fourth straight year"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Staff Writer<br>Mumbai: Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited has retained its position as India\u2019s leading electric commercial vehicle manufacturer for the fourth consecutive financial year, driven by strong sales growth and expanding adoption of electric mobility across the last-mile segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company, part of the Mahindra Group, reported crossing the milestone of over one lakh electric vehicle (EV) sales in FY\u201926, becoming the first commercial vehicle manufacturer in the country to achieve this benchmark in a single financial year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cumulatively, the company has sold more than 3.4 lakh electric vehicles so far, underlining its sustained leadership in the segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited continues to hold a dominant position in the L5 category, commanding a market share of 39.7 per cent, reflecting strong demand from drivers and fleet operators in the last-mile transportation ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company said its vehicles have collectively clocked over 6 billion e-kilometres, contributing to a reduction of around 240 kilo metric tonnes of carbon emissions, in line with India\u2019s broader sustainability goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the financial year, the company also expanded its product portfolio with the launch of the Mahindra UDO, which features segment-first innovations such as reverse throttle, an aerodynamic design and a real-world driving range of up to 200 kilometres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company attributed its continued growth to a focus on innovation, reliability and customer-centric design, as well as increasing trust among small entrepreneurs and fleet owners transitioning to electric mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With rising demand for clean and cost-efficient transport solutions, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility said it remains well positioned to drive the next phase of growth in India\u2019s rapidly evolving last-mile electric mobility sector.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Staff WriterMumbai: Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited has retained its position as India\u2019s leading electric commercial vehicle manufacturer for the fourth consecutive financial year, driven by strong sales growth and expanding adoption of electric mobility across the last-mile segment.
