Its 6,350 mm wheelbase and 1,200 mm floor height contribute to a spacious and accessible interior. Built on a high-strength, corrosion-resistant monocoque chassis, the coach uses FRP exterior panels for the front and rear, with optional aluminum or stretched steel side panels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indian manufacturer JBM also made its entry in the European market in 2023 by showcasing two vehicles at Busworld Brussels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same expo Prawaas 4.0, Volvo \u2013 Eicher joint-venture VECV showcased 3 vehicles, including EV intercity coach, Tata Motors raised the curtain on its new 7-meter Ultra EV minibus and Veera Vahana and Exponent Energy launched a \u201c15-minute charging\u201d intercity electric bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The JBM E12 Galaxy is equipped with electronically controlled air suspension. Passengers benefit from luxury reclining seats with optional calf support, personalized reading lamps, and adjustable AC louvers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accommodating 45 passengers in a luxurious 2\u00d72 configuration, the JBM E12 Galaxy also provides space for a driver and co-driver. The seats feature premium reclining mechanisms and optional calf support for maximum comfort. With 6.05 cubic meters of luggage space, the coach can handle ample personal belongings. Additional features include a kneeling system for easy boarding, USB charging ports, and a comprehensive HVAC system, with optional heating for added convenience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The JBM E12 Galaxy is powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, delivering up to 250 kW of power and allowing speeds of up to 95 km\/h. The coach features a 200 kWh Lithium-Ion battery. Fast charging is supported through a CCS-2 system, enabling a full recharge in just 60 to 90 minutes. The regenerative braking system enhances energy efficiency, extending the vehicle\u2019s range and reducing operational costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Safety is a key focus of the JBM E12 Galaxy\u2019s design. The coach is equipped with all-disc brakes featuring an Electronic Braking System (EBS) and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). High-temperature cut-off mechanisms for the battery and a Fire Detection and Suppression System (FDSS) enhance fire safety. The coach also includes surveillance cameras and Vehicle Tracking Systems (VTS) for comprehensive monitoring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Driver comfort is enhanced with a 4-way adjustable seat featuring a 3-point ELR seat belt. The coach is equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), electronically controlled air suspension, and hill hold functions to ensure a smooth driving experience. The steering system combines electric drive with hydraulic power assistance and includes tilt and telescopic adjustments for precise control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adhering to rigorous Insulation and Interlock (IM and IL) safety standards, the E12 Galaxy has been tested for 1 million kilometers and meets side-impact and rollover safety regulations.
