New Delhi: Kia India on Wednesday reported its highest-ever monthly sales for March at 29,112 units, registering a 14.5 per cent year-on-year growth over 25,525 units sold in the same month last year.
The automaker also recorded its best-ever quarterly performance, with sales of 84,316 units in the January–March period of 2026, marking an 11.6 per cent increase compared to 75,576 units in the corresponding quarter of 2025.
A senior company official attributed the strong performance to sustained demand across its product portfolio, particularly the Kia Seltos, Kia Sonet and Kia Carens range.
“We delivered our best-ever March sales and strongest-ever quarterly performance, driven by consistent demand across segments. The new Seltos continues to lead momentum, while Sonet and Carens remain steady volume drivers,” Kia India Senior Vice President (Sales and Marketing) Atul Sood said.
The company said the Seltos has been clocking over 10,000 units in monthly sales since its latest launch, supported by features such as advanced driver assistance systems and a five-star Bharat NCAP safety rating. The Sonet has also contributed significantly in the compact SUV segment with wider availability of automatic transmission options, while the Carens line-up continues to attract buyers with its premium features and practical design.
Kia India said its growth reflects increasing customer preference for feature-rich and safer vehicles, backed by its expanding nationwide network.
The company currently operates 862 touchpoints across 390 cities, along with 124 certified pre-owned outlets, aimed at strengthening sales, service and ownership experience across urban and emerging markets.
Kia India said it remains optimistic about sustaining growth momentum, supported by upcoming product launches and continued focus on customer-centric mobility solutions.
