New Delhi: Euler Motors and Jio-bp have entered into a strategic partnership to accelerate the development of EV charging infrastructure for commercial electric vehicles across India. The collaboration aims to improve charging accessibility at high-demand logistics hubs, supporting faster adoption of electric commercial vehicles and strengthening the country’s clean mobility ecosystem.
The two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding on February 6, 2026. The MoU was signed by Rubin Pather, Head of Electric Mobility at Jio-bp, and Ashish Tandon, Global Head of Customer Excellence at Euler Motors, in the presence of senior leadership from both organizations.
As Euler Motors expands the deployment of its newly launched Euler TURBO EV 1000 Fast Charge and Euler Storm EV Fast Charge models, access to reliable and widespread charging infrastructure has become critical for fleet operators to maximize efficiency and asset utilization. Jio-bp, with nearly 7,000 charge points across more than 1,000 locations, currently operates India’s widest and fastest EV charging network. Its infrastructure includes the country’s first 480 kW charger equipped with liquid-cooled guns, positioning the company as a key enabler of large-scale EV adoption.
Under the partnership, both companies will work closely to identify high-potential business and logistics hubs with significant demand for commercial EV charging. Euler Motors will facilitate introductions to existing and prospective fleet customers interested in hosting charging stations, enabling quicker site evaluation and deployment. In parallel, Jio-bp will leverage its Trans-Connect platform to introduce Euler Motors to its fleet customer base, supporting a smoother transition to electric mobility solutions.
Sarthak Behuria, Chairman of Jio-bp, said India’s shift towards sustainable mobility requires close collaboration between vehicle innovation and energy infrastructure. He noted that the partnership with Euler Motors reflects a shared commitment to electrifying commercial logistics, a segment that will play a critical role in reducing urban emissions and improving freight efficiency. By combining Jio-bp’s expanding charging ecosystem with Euler Motors’ purpose-built electric cargo vehicles, the partnership aims to support India’s evolving mobility needs while contributing to a low-carbon future.
Jio-bp CEO Akshay Wadhwa said the company is focused on building a dependable and high-performance charging network that aligns with the operational realities of commercial EV fleets. He added that working with Euler Motors allows Jio-bp to integrate its charging infrastructure with rapidly scaling electric cargo mobility solutions, enabling fleet operators to transition with confidence through improved uptime and operating efficiency.
Ashish Tandon of Euler Motors said the MoU brings together two partners committed to addressing one of the biggest challenges in commercial EV adoption, charging accessibility. He said that through shared insights and coordinated execution, the collaboration aims to deliver tangible value to customers while strengthening the overall EV ecosystem.
Gaurav Kumar, Director on the Board of Euler Motors, said scaling electric mobility in the commercial vehicle segment requires charging infrastructure to grow in tandem with vehicle deployment. He emphasized that access to fast and reliable charging at logistics hubs directly impacts fleet uptime, asset utilization and operating economics. According to him, the partnership with Jio-bp is focused on building this critical infrastructure backbone, enabling fleet operators across India to transition to electric mobility with greater efficiency and confidence.
The collaboration marks a significant step towards bridging infrastructure gaps in commercial EV adoption and advancing India’s clean mobility goals through coordinated efforts between vehicle manufacturers and energy providers.
