Mumbai: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB) sold 64,846 tractors in October 2026, including domestic sales and exports, registering a 12 per cent year-on-year decline compared with 73,660 units in the corresponding month last year.

Domestic tractor sales stood at 62,626 units during the month, down 13 per cent from 72,071 units in October 2025. The decline was primarily attributed to a shift in the festive calendar, with Diwali falling in November this year compared with October last year.

However, exports witnessed strong growth, rising 40 per cent year-on-year to 2,220 units in October 2026 against 1,589 units in the year-ago period.

Commenting on the performance, Veejay Nakra, President, Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, said the company sold 62,626 tractors in the domestic market during October, with the volume decline primarily driven by the shift in the festive calendar. He added that exports stood at 2,220 tractors.

For the April-October period of FY27, Mahindra’s total tractor sales increased 2 per cent to 3,38,914 units from 3,30,685 units in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

Domestic sales during the seven-month period grew 2 per cent to 3,25,498 units against 3,19,407 units a year ago. Exports also registered a 19 per cent increase to 13,416 units compared with 11,278 units in the year-ago period.
