Bengaluru: Bosch Limited on Wednesday reported a 13.8 per cent rise in profit after tax for the financial year 2025-26 at Rs 2,770 crore, driven by strong growth in the automotive business, particularly passenger vehicles, tractors and two-wheelers.
The company said its total revenue from operations during FY26 stood at Rs 20,035 crore, registering a growth of 10.8 per cent compared to the previous financial year, aided by higher production volumes across the automotive market.
Profit before tax for FY26, including gains from the sale of its video solutions, access and intrusion, and communication systems business, rose to Rs 3,642 crore, accounting for 18.2 per cent of total revenue from operations.
For the January-March quarter of FY26, the company posted revenue from operations of Rs 5,566 crore, up 13.3 per cent over the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
Profit before tax, excluding exceptional items, stood at Rs 808 crore in the fourth quarter, while profit after tax came in at Rs 568 crore, representing 10.2 per cent of revenue from operations.
The company attributed the improved profitability to higher revenues and optimisation of expenses.
Bosch Limited’s mobility business recorded a 23.3 per cent rise in product sales during the quarter under review compared to the year-ago period.
Its power solutions business grew 27.4 per cent on the back of robust demand in the automotive market, while the two-wheeler segment registered a sharp 63.4 per cent increase in sales due to higher demand for exhaust gas sensors following the implementation of OBD-II norms from April 1, 2025.
However, the company’s beyond mobility segment declined 9.1 per cent in the quarter due to the sale of its video solutions and communication systems business in May 2025.
Commenting on the performance, President and Managing Director at Bosch Ltd. Guruprasad Mudlapur said FY26 was marked by strong revenue growth despite continuing supply chain challenges.
He said increased production volumes in passenger cars and tractors supported the company’s growth momentum and highlighted Bosch’s recently announced joint venture with Tata AutoComp Systems as a key step towards strengthening its e-mobility business.
For the full year, Bosch’s mobility segment reported a 16.9 per cent increase in sales, led by the power solutions and two-wheeler businesses. The power solutions division grew 17.6 per cent, while the two-wheeler business surged 69.1 per cent.
The company’s board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 270 per share for FY26.
Looking ahead, Mudlapur said India’s emergence as a global automotive hub presents significant growth opportunities for the company across software-driven mobility, electrification, hydrogen technologies, safety and connectivity solutions.
He added that Bosch’s beyond mobility businesses are also expected to benefit from the country’s infrastructure push, although geopolitical uncertainties and supply chain disruptions remain areas of concern.
