New Delhi: Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles posted a strong performance in November, with total sales rising 26 percent year-on-year to 59,199 units. The company had dispatched 47,117 units in the same month last year, marking a solid uptick driven by steady demand across segments.
Most of the volume came from the domestic market, where sales reached 57,436 units, up 22 percent from November 2024. Electric vehicles continued to strengthen their share in the portfolio. Combined EV sales across domestic and international markets touched 7,911 units, a 52 percent increase that underlined the company’s growing momentum in the electric space. International business also showed a sharp jump, rising to 1,763 units from a modest 54 units a year earlier.
In a separate update, Tata Motors said its commercial vehicle division recorded a healthy month as well. Total CV sales stood at 35,539 units, up 29 percent year-on-year. Domestic dispatches grew 25 percent to 32,753 units, reflecting strong traction in both cargo and passenger carrier segments.
With both passenger and commercial vehicle businesses reporting double-digit growth, the company closed November on a strong note, supported by wider market recovery and continued interest in its expanding product lineup.
